Implementing the Law of Readiness in English Language Learning: A Strategy to Enhance Student Engagement

Abstrak

This study aims to describe methods for developing students’ learning readiness in English language instruction. The findings demonstrate that a communicative approach, collaborative singing activities as an introduction to English, and educational games can effectively foster students’ readiness to engage in English language learning. The study also indicates that repeated patterns of activities contribute to shaping students’ positive perceptions of English language learning as an enjoyable learning experience.
