Abstrak

Kurikulum Merdeka, which is known as an evolution of the 2013 curriculum, is designed to realize independent learning and optimize learning outcomes that are in line with student needs or differentiation. However, in assessing or evaluating the achievement of learning outcomes, a teacher must carry out research on learning outcomes in a planned and systematic manner. So it is important to discuss assessment in terms of types and its implementation in the independent curriculum.

The method used in writing this article is Library Research with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is content analysis (content analysis) which refers to the compilation of several data from several literature related to assessment in the independent curriculum or other documents related to assessment in the independent curriculum or other documents relevant to this research. The research results show that there are two types of assessments in the independent curriculum, namely formative assessment and summative assessment. In the description of this article, you can see the differences between the two, as well as the objectives of each assessment in its implementation in the independent curriculum.
