Kepemimpinan Humanis di Tengah Transformasi Implementasi Program Pembiasaan Sholat Dhuha dan Literasi dalam Penguatan Karakter Siswa

Abstrak

This study examines the implementation of the habituation program of Dhuha prayer and literacy in strengthening students’ character at MTs El Jasmeen Singosari Malang. The study describes program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, supporting factors, obstacles, and its contribution to students’ character development. The research data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation conducted in the madrasah. The findings show that the program was planned through coordination meetings involving the principal, vice principal for curriculum, vice principal for student affairs, Islamic Education teachers, and homeroom teachers. The activities were implemented every morning before learning, beginning with congregational Dhuha prayer and followed by literacy activities and comprehension exercises using 4W + 1H questions. Monitoring was carried out through attendance records, observations of student participation, and monthly evaluation meetings. The implementation was associated in the research findings with improvements in discipline, religiosity, independence, manners, responsibility, and interest in reading. However, several students still experienced lateness. The madrasah therefore planned continued guidance and additional rewards to strengthen student motivation. The study concludes that the Dhuha prayer and literacy habituation program functions as a character-strengthening practice that integrates religious habituation and literacy before the learning process.
